This is the best razor I have every used and I never cut myself or get razor burn.
I tried the glide and must admit it shaves really close!
I have about three or fore of them and I been using the razors ever sins when i was about 13 years old. And i have two of the new models and it works great on my beard .
After the first Fusion Pro Glide I tried gave me a very close comfortable shave for the first 30 days I used it, I bought more replace blades. For far, the first one I tried seems nowhere near as sharp or confortable as the trial razor I used first.
My other concernis, as other reviewers have written, the lube strip on the razor doesn't last very long. Both blades I have used so far the lube strip lasted only about 4 or 5 shaves.

Purchased new rasor have been through many improvements over the years.This one doesnt work for me! previous model worked far supiror.I have to keep going over and over the same place to get a clean shave, still dont.Old model was usually once maby twice.

I was not impressed with this razor at all. There were too many blades all bunched together, which left me with a horrible shave.
my husbands face has never felt smoother,i cant stop tuchng his face
Clean shave easy to use except close to nose
No pull unless it has been a couple of days since last shave
Blade last a long time and no irritation
My husband has to shave everyday and he would use nothing but the Pro Glide!! It is truly a great razor!!

I have a tuff beard which grows pretty fast . I have been using gillette razors since the Mach3 and have allways gotten a nice close shave with long blade life . The REG fusion blade could last for about 60 shaves if i realy need to strech it, quailty down graded after about 20 of course. But the proglide is just horible . right out of the package the shave is like a 4 month old Reg fusion, leaving patches i have to make double or tripple passes to get . the strip was gone after the secound shave and downgraded rather quickly . I switched to the second blade to see if it was just defective or something, but no, still got the same results . I thought maybe it was the new shaving cream so i went to the store and bought the Reg fusion to compair ,,,,man the differance was day and night. The reg fusion blows the "Proglide" away! Right back to my routine one pass only 5 rinses for my whole face. Yes the Reg fusion is about 3% ruffer then the "Proglide" but its 200% better shave . don't know what they got wrong,, but if they move forward with this line and get rid of the Reg fusion I'll have to find another blade for awhile ,

I'm on my second set of the new Fusion Pro Glide and do not find it as good as the previous incarnations. First off the shave is not as close - to get a shave as close as I had with the old razor, I need at least twice as many strokes. The strip is completely white by the second day of use.
Second, the blades don't last. I'm lucky if the blades last five days (unlike Brian, the previous reviewer, I'm only shaving my face).
I will definitely stick with Fusion until they are phased out and then review my other options/brands. I would not recommend this razor for those with a meaningful beard that want a close shave; or, those that want their blades to last more than three or four shaves.

I have been using Gillette products since I started shaving.
I shave not only my face but also my head daily. I have never had a problem with any Gillette product lasting up to 10 shaves, until I switched to the Fusion pro glide. The first shave is fine but after that the blade becomes dull and pulls and the strip goes away.
This blade is not one I will recommend.
