Make More Time for Yourself

Each day, take just a few minutes to pursue one of your passions. Give yourself small rewards along the way. For example, each week that you work on pursuing your passion every day, treat yourself to something in which you rarely indulge.
Whether you'd like to lose a few pounds, nurture your creative side or pursue a passion, you can develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. Read these tips, and resolve to take a new approach — for a better you.
Start your quest to make more time for yourself by choosing one or two habits and pursuits you really enjoy. Do you love to paint? Finally want to lose those last five pounds? Spend more time with your husband?

Variety Is the Spice of Life

Before you decide on your true passions, remember that you never know what might spark your interest. Variety keeps life interesting and allows you to approach challenges in new ways. Variety also can take you out of your comfort zone — essential to leading a rich life. So, consider making time for something you've never tried before.

Make Your Goals Concrete

Unless your goals are on paper, they're just wishes from which you can deviate. A specific, detailed plan serves as a handrail so you always have something to guide you. Write down your goals and hang them up in a place you pass by frequently.

Treat Yourself

Each day, take just a few minutes to pursue one of your passions. Give yourself small rewards along the way. For example, each week that you work on pursuing your passion every day, treat yourself to something in which you rarely indulge.

Create Success

After a few weeks, come back to your list. How far did you get? When you begin making more time for yourself, it eventually will become a habit — and happily pursuing your passions will become part of your routine!
