HELP REMOVE DEODORANT STAINS FROM YOUR CLOTHES |

I try to be careful, but I still have deodorant stains on some of my shirts. How can I get these stains out?

Dear Amelia,
As soon as you notice the deodorant stain, brush it off your shirt. Then, rinse your shirt in cold water to help dilute the stain. Next, wash your shirt in warm water with Tide®. Finally, let your shirt dry.
If any part of the stain is still there, simply repeat the steps above before letting your shirt dry.
Also, before treating any garment, refer to the instructions on the care label. Always test any solution on a hidden area of your clothes first. If you are treating washable silk or wool, follow basic instructions, but hand wash.

HELP KEEP YOUR MASCARA FROM SMUDGING |

Mascara can be challenging for me. It looks fine when I apply it, but within a few hours, it can spread to my eyelids and even under my eyes.
How can I help prevent this from happening?

Dear Jennifer,
The first step to help ensure that your mascara doesn't smear is to start with a clean face before you apply it. Excess facial oils can cause your eye makeup to stick to the skin around and underneath your eyes. Try Olay® Daily Facials to gently exfoliate, smooth and condition your skin before applying mascara. Your skin needs this moisture for your eye makeup to stay in place.
Next, try a waterproof mascara, such as CoverGirl® Professional Mascara. This smudge-proof formula resists swipes and smears. After you apply it, hold a square of tissue under your bottom lashes and over your under-eye area. Blink onto the tissue for a few seconds. It catches excess mascara before you allow your lashes to touch your skin.
Check your eye makeup periodically. If your mascara smears, gently pat the area with the pad of your ring finger, which has the lightest touch of all five fingers. If there is any excess facial oil, simply use Olay Daily Facials again.

You are on the right track by brushing your teeth at least twice a day. However, to get the most thorough clean, follow the steps in this new article.
You also might want to brush your teeth with Crest® toothpastes. They contain fluoride to help prevent cavities and strengthen weak spots.
