1. Pick up something purple.
Give your wardrobe the royal treatment this fall with a punch of purple. "Some of the best looks for fall involve color and texture," says Cynthia Nellis, women's fashion-guide author. Incorporate the season's hottest shade to add instant style to any outfit. Try everything from shirts to stockings in rich shades of plum, lavender and eggplant.
2. Spice it up with prints.
Get noticed this season in one of fall's hip prints. Plaid, paisley and florals will pop up on dresses, heels and coats alike. Mix things up by pairing clashing patterns, such as a striped scarf with a floral dress.
3. Have fun with fabric.

Think big for fall jewelry. A notice-me necklace is an effortless way to dress up your fall duds. Other ideas for a glamorous fall look include large sculptural cuffs, major necklaces and anything bejeweled.

"The buzz off the runways for fall 2008 is all about color on the eyes and lips," says beauty advisor Julyne Derrick. "Jewel colors, especially grays, purples and blues, are hot for the eyes. Keep in mind almost anyone can wear blue shadow. You just have to find a flattering shade."
