Instant Sparkle
If you want to add instant sparkle to your eyes, try this tip from CoverGirl® makeup artist BJ Gillian. Pick a light bronze or vanilla shade of shadow and apply it to your eyelids. Next, to create drama and depth, use a darker complementary shade (for example, a dark gold, copper or bronze) along the crease, from the inner eye to the outer corner. Now, take the same shade of eye shadow and use it as an eyeliner — lining the outer two-thirds of both upper and lower lids. Follow up with two coats of mascara.
To draw more attention to your eyes, use a light, iridescent shade of blush (such as apricot or soft pink) or a barely-there sparkling shade of eye shadow and apply it lightly in a crescent shape from your temple to the top of your cheekbone.
